a moving urban art show

My new studio is located near a railroad track, as is most of my town. A few times a day, I'm treated to a moving urban art show. Not only do I love the colorful tags and box car graphics, but I love the way my chest rumbles and my feet shake when the train passes by. It is a lovely sight which reminds me that there are still many places to see and people to meet.

sweet potatoes, a late summer delight

For the most part my south florida summer garden has been dormant, however I did keep a sweet potato patch going. Harvest time came and what an absolute delight it was! I've decided that digging up sweet potatoes is my all time favorite garden activity...
